Infrastructure
& Frequency List
The
coordinates listed below all use the WGS84 datum, and are given in pairs:
The first coordinate is in decimal degrees, which should be the norm for
coordinate notation due to its simplicity and accuracy (it has become the new
world standard with digital maps, and where GPSrs are used).
The second coordinate uses the less accurate Maidenhead grid, the old standard
used in the Amateur Radio community.

Packet, PBBS info:
ZS0PMB-1 is the call-sign of the Midlands packet radio PBBS (mailbox). Connect to it on 144.800MHz by typing;
"C ZS0PMB-1". The packet digipeater is on ZS0PMB-2 and the KA-Node is on ZS0PMB-7.
This frequency shares the ZA national APRS frequency so no BBS will be availible here, and should be used for basic packet operations only due to shared duties with the APRS network.
